They are running a business so theyre not going to put a load of search results on someones screen with no photos on them. They want singles to get together so their dating service becomes a success. Other singles can specify that they dont want to be contacted by singles without a photo on their profile so you wont come up in their search results at all. Other singles can also assume youre hiding your face because youre already in a relationship. Some married people or those in a relationship go online to have affairs. Uploading your photo shows youre honest and have nothing to hide. Online dating services will advise you in their own help sections to avoid contacting singles with no photo. They want to keep everything as honest and up front as possible. With your online dating profile photo you keep the dating web sites happy, and keep the other singles clicking on your profile. If you dont make either of these happy you wont get the results youre after. Youre there to find a partner so make it look like youre looking for one. |
