The first ever Johnny Cash poster I had was when I was in my college years. It didnt belong to me it actually belonged my freshman roommate who stayed in my dorm room. He got me liking Johnny Cash music from constantly playing his songs. My opinion had changed from thinking all country and western music was there to please rednecks and ignorant hicks, so I could not believe it when I seen Johnny Cash posters up on the dorm room wall know I realize how wrong I was and had been. We would start to get in the way of staying up the entire night just listening as Cash offered us his music as he talked about what went on in his life, we would talk about ours. Now I buy any Johnny Cash poster that I can get my hands on, and his posters decorate the walls of my current house. He is an amazing man, and I do not grudge him the space one bit. I sampled ordering Johnny Cash posters from the Internet using sites like Amazon, and that will do fine if you are only looking for an image or two that will brighten up a room. However, for the pure collector there is nothing that can beat inspecting all of the posters on your own. I just love looking at the posters and consider the thought and the songs which they relate to. They add his music to the look of a room, and can really inject that special something to any persons home. This is why I continue to look at every poster, and buy every poster that I like. There is also a certain challenge element to getting every poster, but that lies as a background issue when I just love them so much. |
