And so canny is the man that he is able to extract a $5 million advance from Knopf to write a book about his benevolence. While there have been many noble people who have given their lives to charitable acts, it is a rare person indeed who can find a way to make millions out of it. We can all rest assured that he is now even more abundantly funded to keep up his meritorious work. |
