Homeschooling also benefits the children in such a way that individual attention is given to them. There are no fixed hours per subject when children are homeschooled. Children will also be safer from peer pressure and learn how to decide based on their own preferences and not the influence of their friends. When children are homeschooled, they are not pressured to prove themselves better than other children. Their self-esteem is intact as they do not feel the need for competition. Children have different learning styles. And there is no person who knows a child better than a parent. Homeschooling enables parents to find out the most effective methods that help their children to learn faster and easier. Parents may setup a curriculum based on the strengths and weaknesses of their children. These days, parents are getting more disenfranchised with the public school system. There is not little faith in the system as parents think that their children are pushed too hard or too little towards learning. Some parents worry about the discipline and ethics among educators. If you have time to spare, you may consider homeschooling your child. Both you and your child will learn in the process, and you will become a lot closer to one another.
