Is Mr Black in? I’d like to speak to Mr Black. 想找的人不在,有下列说法: Would you like to leave a message? 你要不要留个电话? May I take a message for him? ... isn’t in. ... is out. ... wasn’t back home then. 如果有某人的电话,有下列说法: ... is on the line....找你. You are wanted on the phone.有你的电话。 There’s a call for you. 请别挂断电话,可以说: Hang on a moment. Hold the line, please. Just a moment or wait a minute, please. Don’t hang up, please. 拨错了号码常说: I’m afraid you have a wrong number. Sorry, wrong number. 电话占线或出了毛病,一般说: The line is busy.占线。 The line is bead.线断了。 It’s a very bad line.
